The Keeley Compressor Plus is the first true advancement in our 2 and 4 knob compressor line. The new features are simple and straight forward. Now there is a simple Release Switch that is tuned for single coils or humbuckers. No more wondering if you have the attack or release set right. Your humbuckers will have all the attack and punch that they should. Our team designed a gorgeous sounding Tone Control which emphasizes the most sensitive harmonics that can be lost in compression. The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and, more importantly, the proper phasing of your guitar signal. The Keeley Compressor Plus is a compressor with an expander/sustainer. Not only does it act as a regular compressor, limiting the peaks in your playing, it adds more and more gain as notes fade out. Now you have sustain. Nothing worse than a note or a bend that has died before its time. The Keeley Compressor Plus adds just the right amount of sustain and expressive bloom to your notes.

The new Release Switch on the Keeley Compressor Plus is designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars. Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils which can cause compressors to stay in “compression mode” for a lot longer. When this happens, any series of notes you play will sound dull. With the quick release of the new Compressor Plus, your humbuckers remain true sounding, and each note retains dynamic attack and definition.

The Tone Control is our own design taken from analog delays and other vintage effects. Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines. We took that circuit and made it into a full fledged tone control! We have found that it is the perfect way to gently add back in those highs lost in the compression process.

The Blend Control is a way of getting the peaks to come through while having sustain at the same time. So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you! Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end. Heaven!

The Reverb side of the pedal features 3 cavernous sounds:

The Boost Looking for something in between a clean boost like the high voltage Keeley Katana and a germanium modded professional overdrive? The D&M Drive delivers insane amounts of headroom and a distinct midrange voice can be dialed in to give you the lead voicing you dream of. Dialed in to give you the punch and clarity of a horn yet subtle and smooth in saturation to give you warm overdrive and tons of sustain. Expect it to work well with any amp or rig.

The Drive Multiple Gain Stages are where it’s at. This delivers. From a its lowest settings where you feel like you’ve discovered the perfect pro sounding overdrive to the roar of a high end amp. This side of the D&M packs a heavily saturated punch. The headroom on this side of the pedal is no slouch, use it to find that delicate balance between drive and amp saturation for the core of your tone. Turn up the Drive to give you a dynamic and searing tube-like gain that excels in sustain. Designed for quick attack with plenty of high and low end. Rich harmonic gain and sustain with dynamics is what this side offers.

The Switching Daniel Steinhardt from TheGigRig insisted that this was a versatile dual gain box that wasn’t limited in any way with its two simple stomp switches. You select the order! A simple toggle allows you to configure the pedal so that when both the Drive and Boost are on you decide which is first. If you want to have a smooth and round tone go into a richly driven amp-like gain stage….or if you want a highly driven tone with edge and harmonics to be then boosted with clarity and refinement, it’s your choice. Not only that, but it also has TRS inputs so that this pedal would easily integrate into an professional switching system like the G2. Now pedalboard designers can configure the D&M Drive to act as two independent pedals, switching between either side of the pedal as it were its own stand alone effect. Features

This pedal is in great condition. There are now chips in the finish, only minor rash on the right side and there is velcro on the bottom. There is no box or packaging, pedal only.

The LSTR is an all-out rock machine tuned and blended to deliver the signature Black Arts low end along with more fuzz than mamma allows, unique tone controls and LSTR’s understated, striking beauty. LSTR is from the same BMP family, but unlike the Pharaoh, which is dialed back a little, LSTR is the action! LSTR is GO! LSTR can deliver fuzz bordering on distortion; tones go from the traditional muff scooped sound to the Pharaohish wide open tones. Point your tone knobs toward each other for the traditional BMP scoop, and away from each other to get into the more wide open Pharaoh tones. LSTR: Teaching kids to smoke, play games and drink beer.

Reverbs: Keeley 2 Spring Reverb is the real deal, it's so good sounding, they install it in The Amp now. The Keeley Spring Reverb allows you to get that splashy spring sound that instantly fattens your guitar tone.

If you want something super smooth, however, you flip it over to switch in our Plate Reverb. Get that huge plate reverb sheen by simply flipping a switch!

Tremolos:

AA Lotus Flower of Tremolos. I don't know what that means, but it sounded good. You have three blooming tremolos in the Keeley VoT. R+T - is an organic tube bias type tremolo. This means you hear the tube amp bias change enough to modulate the volume. A very personal and haunting tremolo. Very moody. Mack - This mode is a MagnaAmp style pitch vibrato. Done by carefully changing the phase to illicit silky smooth pitch shift. Sounds like you have your finger on the pulse of life. Sometimes a walk on the wild side is the way to go. HAR - Harmonically Amplified Resonator. I made that up too. Harmonic Tremolo -two filters that we vine around, back and forth, creating a notch filter that gives you that Tower of Flower sound.

VoT - Lotus: Here's where the flowering magic occurs: you can set the VoT to be either Reverb OR Tremolo OR Both if you want. Let's say you just need some 'verb for the night, simply reduce the Depth control! Reverb Purity.

What if you want to use the tremolo only? Simply roll off the Reverb control.

This pedal can simply and easily be reborn into any combination of tones you need.
